Devour The Fetus - Traumatic Birth Delight album review
The new release of
Devour The Fetus is
Traumatic Birth Delight and here is a short review of this (another excellent work) album of the band. I really appreciate Devour The Fetus work, starting for the all-good EP "
Cook n` Roll". I was actually curious to see a new album of this band and it finally went out. In the time of writing, I'm giving it the second play. Definitely another great job by these guys. The opening song says it all: the intro is simply amazing and "Prenatal Autosarcophagy" gives you exactly what you can expect. I was listening to it out loud and the recording quality is perfect. The album was very well produced and recorded. I really enjoy listening for a piece of creative extreme metal music.
Devour The Fetus is keeping the good work and you can listen the album
Traumatic Birth Delight to confirm it. What I like in this band is the instrumental techniques and a good variety of rhythm that combined with the aggressive vocals make the whole thing very interesting to listen. For example, the album "Cook n` Roll" I can listen nonstop for hours and never get bored of it. Their riffs are very well projected and seem to connect perfectly with everything. With the tracklist varying with songs in the range of 2, 3 and 4:30 minutes, there is something special for all types of metalheads. I believe that Devour The Fetus band has everything to innovate Death Metal and project longest tracks. They are very creative and I can imagine a future good song with 10 minutes of more to all these aggressive being appreciated. These guys are talented!
Songs Analysis
Well, let's take a quick look into some songs in the Traumatic Birth Delight album.
Prenatal Autosarcophagy The opening song couldn't be better. It dictates what you will listen for the rest of the album. Good and heavy guitar riffs, powerful bass and drums and the vocal perfectly connected. Prenatal Autosarcophagy is fast with a good variety of rhythms to catch your attention and keep tuned for the upcoming songs. I liked the variance of the transitions of speed and slow. Listening for Prenatal Autosarcophagy I was sure that I was starting to listen to another fantastic album of the band. Over 4 minutes of a great opening.
Embryomlet This song confirms everything I was expecting for this album. Good riff and variance and interesting links to fast and slow parts. The aggressive vocal always present to intensify the
Chew My Newborn Stew Very similar in quality with Embryomlet. Will definitely keep you listening the album.
No Country For Fetus Another powerful and aggressive song with an excellent riff. The perfect combination of vocals and instrumentals with both guitar and bass giving a huge heavy atmosphere.
Placentartiflette This song is another proof of my idea that Devour The Fetus should immerse in longest songs. They have everything to succeed on it and at the same time put some innovation for the Death Metal music.
Keep listening for it. You will like it.
